  Excellent doctors. I've used them through multiple pregnancies. HOWEVER with excellent doctors we need excellent staff to support them. Whenever I was had an issue when pregnant it would take a nurse end of day and sometimes never to get a call back. Once I finally received a call back but I had already taken myself to the ER. I get blood work and can't even get a call back with the results. The results can tell me if I can no longer have children. Pretty important right? Well not to them. I waited and waited. No call back. Now it's Fri and I'll have to wait until Monday. Sad to say after having two children I'll be leaving the practice. I promise you. This is not the only bad encounter with staff. Another the nurse told me I was being dramatic and I need to stop using Google to research things. Ends up I was right. I had a major health issue during my pregnancy that could have caused stillbirth. Pretty important right? No woman deserves her concerns to be discounted. There have been many instances dealing with staff. I've made formal complaints. Especially the one time the nurse ripped a hole in her glove so she could feel my vein. So are gloves worn only to protect the nurses? I only stayed for the doctors but now it's enough. Good luck ladies.

  I was recommended to Dr. DiStefano at the start of my pregnancy whom I've only met with once. I did like her very much, but she is difficult to book an appointment with. I was not impressed w the other two doctors , one of whom has zero bedside manner. When I explained I was very sensitive to sugar, I was told to drink Gatorade and eat granola bars ... Not sure why since both are loaded w sugar ... When I expressed my concern about having the diabetes test - thinking the sugary drink would make me sick, I was told "it will make you naseous but you won't vomit" ... Again I thought how do they know this when I've been vomitting most of my pregnancy! It wasn't until I did my own research about the modified diabetes test and called to speak to Dr. DiStefano was I told that I could eat 16 jelly beans instead, I am still wondering why the other doctor didn't tell me this ... After I took the test, I never received a call about the results as I was told I would and called back a week later to find out the results myself. When I told one of the doctors that I was getting dizzy often, the response was "sometimes it just happens, pregnant woman pass out all if the time.." ... And when I tried to explain the extreme discomfort and pain from my swelling legs, I was told "it can't be that bad, I've seen much worse" .... I think you get the picture! .... One of the triage nurses, Cathy was very nice and helpful, the other nurses I came into contact with were for the most part rude and again lacked bedside manner ... Did not introduce themselves and seemed bothered when questions were asked ... Meanwhile, if they explained things as they should, especially to new mothers, I may not have had so many questions to ask! If I weren't so far along in my pregnancy I would absolutely switch doctors. I have not recommended this group to others and will not go back after I deliver.
